A compact expression of Tagliovivo’s uncompromising approach to craftsmanship, the Doctor Crossbody Bag is handcrafted in Italy from premium vegetable-tanned horse leather. Inspired by traditional doctor’s satchels, the silhouette combines practicality with a raw, sculptural aesthetic that evolves beautifully with wear.

The structured body is lined in natural linen and fitted with both a zipped compartment and an open leather pocket for daily essentials. Completing the design is Tagliovivo’s signature hand-forged iron hook closure—an artisanal detail individually crafted, making every bag inherently unique.

Over time, the vegetable-tanned leather develops a rich patina, documenting its journey and transforming each piece into a personal archive of wear.

Care: Vegetable-tanned leather naturally develops a distinctive patina through use, enhancing the character of the piece over time. Avoid prolonged exposure to water. If wet, gently absorb moisture immediately and allow the leather to dry naturally. For regular maintenance, clean with a soft cotton cloth and glycerin soap applied evenly across the entire surface. Variations in colour, texture, markings, and aging are considered hallmarks of the material’s authenticity and craftsmanship.
