The POLKA DOT PADDED TOP from Junya Watanabe SS26 applies the designer’s signature structural thinking to one of the most familiar wardrobe foundations. Built from a sheer cotton jersey base, the piece is scattered with tactile flocked polka dots that sit slightly above the fabric surface, creating tonal depth that subtly shifts under light. The defining gesture lies in the shoulders, sharply pointed and architecturally padded, introducing a rigid geometry that transforms the entire silhouette. Long sleeves and a slim fitted body keep the rest of the garment restrained, allowing the shoulder construction and textured surface to take focus.
